The main difference was magic! There were 10 elements (Pure, Air, Water, Earth, Sound, Light, Mind, Fire, Matter and Time), Pure magic was the basis anyone could use, and all elements could be learned, except for Fire, which was banned because of Aerto's fear of it, and Time.
The main story, Tick Tock, was about a wolf called Nokeli, who was born unable to use any magic. I didn't have much plot planned out, other than her being a reincarnation of Aerto's friend/partner. She would be offered a deal by the Time god, Secos to get the ability to use magic, which changes her appearance as well.
I only wrote part of the first chapter, and it was never made public. Like most other stories, I didn't know what to do with it.
In this version of the lore I did start working on side stories as well, which I still just call Tales of Peralyn. The main one was A Broken Heart, which was about the canine prince Aiolos, and how he disappeared.
For this story I wrote four chapters, which I did share with friends, but never published. While I didn't have the story planned much either, I did at least have more of an idea what would happen than for Tick Tock.
Aiolos has a special ability that let him see souls and emotions, during the story he travelled to Mãni, where a group of canines called the Tribe of the Moon lived. I didn't write any of their story down unfortunately, but did draw references for a few their members: Raven with Broken Wing, the lead Ambusher, Alligator that Hides in Creek, the lead fisher, Hawk who Chased the Sun, the leader, and Star from Distant Lands, who is Aiolos.
All members of the tribe wear masks, most white, except for Hawk and Aiolos, who had black masks.
Although I stopped writing A Broken Heart before they reached Mãni, I did have some ideas for how it would end. Eventually, Aiolos would run away, as his father and everyone who visited the palace only had dark thoughts, and he didn't feel safe. He had a crush on a servant who worked there, but he was killed when Aiolos' father found out. After leaving, Aiolos became a thief, specialising in using Pure magic directly, although no one recognised him because he always wore his Tribe mask.
I think Aiolos was meant to be important in some way to the main story of Tick Tock, but I don't really remember how. He was one of my favourite characters though.
